Current Events:  MTG is against Speaker Mike Johnson.  At least he has that going for him.

I think the good people of Georgia’s 14^th congressional district should be ashamed.  In 2022, 170,000 of them elected Marjorie Taylor Greene to represent them. 

I’d be ashamed if the person in Congress representing me acted like her.  She is a clown and rude.  She promulgates crazy conspiracy theories.  She either believes this stuff (not able to think critically) … or she’s using it to game the people she represents (self-serving intellectual dishonesty).

According to her .gov website, she introduced 364 pieces of legislation and, so far, 6 became law … a 1.6% success rate.  As a point of reference using the same source and same time period, my Congressperson, Kweisi Mfume’s stats are 435 introduced, 14 became law, 2.2% success.  (Frankly, I had never looked at these statistics before.  Lots of activity and damned little of it goes anywhere.)

MGT’s father … to his credit, a successful businessperson … presented a theory of how the stock market follows the earth’s gravitational energies. 

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.  Except MJT is also an unsuccessful businessperson.
