Life & Living:  A Good Read – Nuclear War by Annie Jacobsen.

This is one serious ass book.  It will scare the hell out of you … or should.   As best I can tell, it is well-researched, relies on real experts, and is factually accurate.  It’s a page turner.  Credit to friend, salt-of-the-earth AT&T colleague, and CFO wunderkind Rich Lee for discovering and recommending it. 

The format is a minute-by-minute scenario that starts with a nuclear attack on the United Stated and ends with an all-out, global nuclear Armageddon and the ensuing nuclear winter, essentially ending civilization as we know it … interspersed with explanations of nuclear warfare technology, policy, strategy, and operations.
